## Track referrals and rewards in the portal

You get a personal referral code, a shareable link, and a clear view of referrals, paying referrals, affiliate funds, and recent reward activity.

# Referrals, rewards, and earned balance

The affiliate program gives you a referral code, a shareable link, referral statistics, affiliate funds, and recent reward history so you can see whether attribution worked.

## What the customer can see

- A personal referral link that can be copied or shared.
- Total referral count.
- Paying referral count.
- Cumulative commission.
- Recent reward history, including invoice or order references where available.

## Reward behavior

When a referred customer completes payable activity, the reward is credited into earned balance or account credit. If the underlying transaction is later reversed or refunded, the history can reflect that as a matching reversal event.

The customer UI also makes it clear that attribution begins when a visitor arrives through the referral link and the platform stores the referral marker before signup.

## How to use it well

- Treat affiliate rewards as credits tied to customer activity, not as guaranteed future cash flow.
- Use the recent reward list to reconcile notable changes.
- Keep referral ownership aligned with the account that should receive the rewards.

## Practical boundary

Affiliate information is currently managed through the customer portal. Use the portal views for referral accounting unless a public affiliate API is added later.
